Have you been spending intimate time daily in prayer and the word, developing a relationship with Jesus? Just talking to Him like a friend, telling Him about your day, and how you feel? Have you been reading the word daily, even if its only a chapter or 2, inviting the Holy Spirit to read with you? Asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand, and to speak to you through scripture? Its essential. The Holy Spirit wants to fellowship with you. He lives inside you. You are not alone. The more time you spend talking to the Holy Spirit, the closer to the Lord you will get. And when you read the word, you will begin to see Him guiding you to scripture that you may need at that moment. It will become more enjoyable, and you will look forward to that time each day in prayer. That is what God desires with you. The more time you spend alone with God, and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you, the stronger you will become, and it will be much easier to avoid temptations when they come. You will not want to ruin that relationship that you have developed with Jesus. And when temptations come, capture them immediately, and ask the Holy Spirit to remove the desire in Jesus name. The longer you entertain it, the harder it will be to avoid. Run from it if you have to. But the key is the Holy Spirit. He is your teacher and helper. He will guide you to your purpose in Christ. But you must depend upon Him, and allow Him to change your heart. And that comes only through prayer and the word of God. The Holy Spirit is the key. We can do nothing without Him. That is why God sends Him to live inside every believer upon salvation. He is the Gods seal, and your evidence you have been Born Again. We need to draw closer to God, and He will draw closer to us. God has not rejected you. He is faithful, and His love never fails. It is we who distance ourselves from Him when we choose disobedience and neglect our relationship with Him. But He is always ready to receive us when we turn back to Him. 📖 "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you." - James 4:8 If you feel rejected, ask yourself: Are you seeking Him? Are you relying on the Holy Spirit? Are you spending time in His Word and prayer? God desires a relationship with you, but He won’t force you-you have to choose to pursue Him. God won’t resist the devil for you-that’s your responsibility: 📖 "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." - James 4:7 You are not rejected. Turn back to Him, seek Him with your whole heart, and trust that He will restore you. 🙏🏼

It’s understandable to be worried, but you haven’t messed up beyond repair. Hebrews 10:26 warns about willfully sinning after knowing the truth, but the fact that you feel convicted shows that God is still working in your heart. It’s about repentance-turning away from sin and seeking God’s help. Repeated sin doesn’t mean God has abandoned you, but it does mean you need to take sin seriously and turn to Him with a repentant heart. Repent, seek God wholeheartedly, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you overcome temptation. God’s discipline isn’t rejection; it’s love to bring you back to Him. You are not beyond forgiveness, but you do need to commit to changing and building a relationship with Jesus. Keep seeking Him, and trust He will help you through. 🙏🏼

One sin doesn’t make you an apostate it’s rejection

Hebrews 6:4-8 📖 "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost... If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance." This passage refers to people who have been exposed to the truth of the Gospel-they’ve “tasted” it but never fully surrendered their hearts to Jesus. They experienced God’s presence, His blessings, and His Spirit working among them, but they never truly belonged to Him. Just as Judas walked with Jesus and saw His miracles but still betrayed Him, there are some who come close to the faith but never commit. If they reject Christ after knowing the truth, they harden their hearts beyond repentance.

If you are truly saved, this passage is not talking about you. Jesus Himself said: 📖 "I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." - John 10:28 A true believer may struggle, but they will always be drawn back to God. If you desire to repent and follow Christ, that’s evidence that the Holy Spirit is still working in you-meaning you haven’t fallen away! This passage isn’t meant to make true believers fearful-it’s a warning to those who have heard the Gospel and are on the fence, resisting full surrender to Jesus. If someone continually rejects God and hardens their heart, there may come a point where repentance is no longer possible-not because God refuses them, but because they no longer desire to repent.

How Should We Respond? ✅ Examine your heart - Do you truly trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior? ✅ Stay close to Him - Read His Word, pray, and walk in faith daily. ✅ Trust in God’s mercy - If you are seeking Him, He has not rejected you. 🙌 Encouragement for You: If you are anxious about this, it shows that you still have a heart that longs for Jesus. That is the work of the Holy Spirit in you! Rest in God’s grace and keep seeking Him. Romans 6:4-8 📖 “Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.” - Romans 6:4 Romans 6:4-8 is a powerful reminder that when we come to faith in Christ, our old self dies, and we are raised to a new life in Him. Paul is explaining that believers are spiritually united with Jesus-in His death, burial, and resurrection. Verse 4 - Baptism symbolizes that our old sinful life is buried with Christ, and we are raised to walk in a new, transformed life. Verse 5 - If we are truly united with Christ in His death, we can be certain we will be united with Him in His resurrection. Verse 6 - Our old self (our sinful nature) has been crucified with Christ so that we are no longer enslaved to sin. Verse 7 - A person who has died (spiritually, with Christ) is freed from sin’s power. Verse 8 - Since we died with Christ, we can be fully confident that we will also live with Him eternally.

Why Is This Encouraging? ✅ You are no longer bound by your past. Your sins, shame, and failures were buried with Christ. ✅ You are free from sin’s power. You may still struggle, but sin no longer owns you. ✅ Your future is secure in Christ. Just as Jesus rose from the dead, you too will be raised to eternal life with Him. This passage is not meant to make us anxious-it is meant to give us hope! It assures us that because we are in Christ, we are no longer slaves to sin. Yes, we may stumble, but our identity is no longer in our failures-it is in Jesus.

How Should We Respond? 🔹 Walk in your new identity. You are no longer the same person-live as a child of God. 🔹 Rely on the Holy Spirit. He will strengthen you to overcome sin and live for Christ. 🔹 Trust in God’s promise. If you have put your faith in Jesus, you belong to Him. 📖 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” - Romans 8:1

If you are anxious, remember this: The fact that you care about your walk with God proves that He is still working in you. You are not lost. You are redeemed, loved, and secure in Christ. 🙌 Hold onto God’s truth, not your feelings. Jesus has already won the victory for you! Keep seeking Him, and He will strengthen you. ❤
